Meet the Team

Valentina Khan,

JD, MA

Valentina is the Managing Director for Investors Philanthropic. She was born & raised in Orange County, California. She grew up in North Tustin, a compassionate community that inspired her to continue to spread the positivity she grew up with by way of giving back.

She is a graduate of the University of Southern California Bachelor of Arts, received her Juris Doctorate at Taft Law School & continued her education with a Masters of Arts degree from Claremont School of Theology. She was the visionary and co-founder of I Am Jerusalem & was a contributing member to the Interfaith Youth, both of which are nonprofit organizations that focus on building bridges of understanding and friendship within the interfaith communities.

Valentina is the Host for the Joy of Giving series, which highlights various business leaders and nonprofit. She is passionate about bringing the joy of giving to millions, through education, collaboration & creating opportunities for Donors to fulfill their philanthropic missions. 

 

As part of Investors Philanthropic, Valentina brings her love of community and efforts to build impactful relationships from one generation to the next.

Robert O Hill

Robert O Hill is the Chairman of the Board of Investors Philanthropic, Investors Private Equity Fund, & General Partner of O Hill Capital, which are headquartered at One Upper Newport Plaza in Newport Beach. Investors Trust is a real estate asset manager and advisor. O Hill Capital is an investment and real estate development company; projects include Peppertree Bend in San Juan Capistrano and Bear Brand Ranch, which is a 1,550 acre master-planned community in Laguna Niguel, California. O Hill Capital develops and acquires portfolio investment properties, and in addition to Golf Realty Fund, owns Retail Realty Fund, Residential Realty Fund and NNN Realty Fund.

Robert O Hill is a third-generation Orange Countian who attended Newport Harbor High School, the University of Southern California and the University of California Irvine, and served in the United States Coast Guard Reserve. Prior to starting his own real estate companies he spent several years involved in real estate investment banking with Dean Witter, now known as Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Robert O Hill is a member of The Reserve, Newport Beach Country Club, SeaCliff Country Club, The Pacific Club, Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. He served for four consecutive years as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bear Brand Ranch Community Association, and was appointed by Supervisor Thomas F. Riley to serve as a member of the Major Landowner Committee for Orange County Transportation. Mr. O Hill is a member of the Circle of Leadership and Center Benefactors for the Segerstrom Center of Performing Arts Center, member of the Board of Trustees for the Orange County Art Museum, and is a past member of the Orange County Board of Directors for United Way, in addition to other charitable interests.

Extra FYI: He is an avid sportsman who loves golf, tennis, snow skiing and virtually all water sports.

Alain O' Connor

Alain O’Connor is the Chief Financial Officer of Investors Trust, which is a real estate asset manager and investment advisor. Alain is responsible for acquisitions, due diligence, financing, budgeting, reporting, and lender and investor relations. Alain O’Connor grew up in Hawaii, and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his degree in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting.

After college Alain worked for the “big four” accounting firm, KPMG, as an Audit Senior Associate, and among other duties participated in audits of companies in the hospitality, real estate and financial services industries, including Balboa Bay Club and Newport Beach Country Club. Following his time with KPMG, Alain became the Fund Manager for LBA Realty’s largest private REIT with over $1 Billion in real estate assets and 4 joint ventures. He was responsible for the fund’s accounting, reporting and cash management and was the accounting lead for acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and loan closings, including validating settlement statements, providing funding, and booking transactions. He was also responsible for preparing REIT compliance testing and ensuring compliance with partnership agreements.

Extra FYI: Alain is fluent in Spanish and his hobbies include surfing, sailing, snowboarding and soccer.
